* George Washington: Washington was a 22-year-old soldier in the French and Indian war, on the side of the English. He was a surveyor and a great mathematician and he surveyed many lands in Virginia. Washington was sent on many missions including, warning the French out of Ohio and building a fort in the Ohio Valley. Soon Washington was sent with the Famous General, "Bulldog" Braddock. Since Braddock's many troops were slow lots of sharpshooters ambushed them. When Braddock was killed Washington took command and rallied the men to safety. Washington played many important roles in the French and Indian war and prepared him for the war to come. ...

* Benjamin Franklin created the Albany plan of Union. Franklin wanted to create one general government for every one. Franklin called it the Grand council. * The treaty of Paris was the document that ended the French and Indian. This marked the end of the French power in North America. The English were given Canada and all the French land east of the Mississippi. France was allowed was to keep some islands and a few sugar plantations in the West Indies. This established the battle ground for the revolutionary war.

* The Green mountain boys were a group of men from Vermont who were led by Ethan Allen. These men ambushed Fort Ticonderoga, which held many cannons and powder that the colonist needed ...
