Beowulf

Beowulf was written during the Anglo-Saxon period of English literature. Beowulf is an old English epic hero poem about Beowulf, the leader of the Geats, who is an epic hero with super human strength. He performs tasks that are nearly if not impossible for a normal human to complete such as defeating several monsters in the story including Grendel, Grendel's Mother, and a Dragon.

There have been discoveries of many artifacts that suggest that Beowulf did exist. The Author exaggerates a lot about Beowulf, therefore the story has to be fictional because it is very hard to believe that a human, Beowulf, was able to kill a monster like Grendel by ripping his arm off with his bare ...

story, overtime, grew more and more amazing each time until it became an epic heroic story like it is now. Lies are based on a little bit of truth so if you compare it to this then you�ll see that the story was based on some factual basis.

I believe that Beowulf did exist. But since the poem was passed down through many people and was never originally written down until a while later, I believe that the stories could have been changed a little bit each time by the people telling it just to make it a little more interesting. So it is plausible that he existed but just not as a super human that fought monsters.
