Christopher Columbus set sail in 1492 to find a new trade route to China. If he had only known what that first voyage would bring upon him in the next 12 years he may have had second thoughts about ever starting the trip. Yes, he went down in history as the man who discovered America. Yet it does not seem that it was worth the early death he was bestowed. I am now going to discuss his joy of the beauty of what he discovered, and what later became his own hell.
