Culture is often used as a generic term to express characteristics of a country, of a people, of a society, of an economy, etc. As we can see, it is quite an encompassing term, although, by expressing so many different things, we may sometimes have the feeling that the term is too vague.

Of course, in its minimal definition, culture refers to "the system of shared beliefs, values, customs, behaviors, and artifacts that the members of society use to cope with their world and with one another, and that are transmitted from generation to generation through learning" .
