Who are the main characters and what are their roles:

The main characters of this book are: Gandalf, Aragorn, Legloas, Gimli, Boromir, Pippin, Merry, and Sam. First is Gandalf. In this Book (The Fellowship of the ring) Gandalf is the is the leader and guide until the part in the caves of Moria. In Moria The company ran into Orcs and a Balrog. They had to fight the Orcs and later Gandalf had to fight the Balrog. That is when Gandalf and the Balrog were killed (but I do not believe that Gandalf was killed). Next is Aragorn. Aragorn is a Ranger and the true king. He was exiled from his own kingdom. Aragorn saves the company many times. A Ranger is a person who roams the lands leaving for months at a time. Next is Legloas. Legloas is an elf that saves the Company many times. For example: When the company entered Lothl�rien (an elven forest) they would have been killed, but ...
