Female stereotyping has been a big problem in the world. Females insult females and males insult females. The feminist movement or women's liberation movement started in the 1960's to fight for the rights of women and minorities but, has not really changed now. Women in society are discriminated against just because they are women. Stereotyping affects females in many ways because they cannot stick up to themselves in front of a male. Men automatically apply gender assumptions to women regardless of evidence to the contrary. Traditionally, the female stereotypic role is to marry and have children. Women put out their family's wealth and prosperity before their own. A woman has to be loving, compassionate, nurturing, and sympathetic. These types of stereotypes are proven to be very harmful and could prevent women to change their expression and creativity, as well as slow down their personal and professional growth.
