Happiness is a vital element that is part of one�s life. Without it, a human being would have to go through life miserable and unsatisfied with what life has to offer. People without happiness sometimes live alone, are commonly found to be more quiet, or end up making poor decisions that negatively affect his or her life. Contrary to that, people with happiness in their life act as if the sun is always shining, and make the best of every single opportunity.

A simple smile when walking down the hallway or a favorite song being played on the radio resembles happiness in someone�s life as well. One�s interests can also bring out happiness in life. Traveling, music, sports, friends and family are all different aspects of happiness that are prevalent in the average human�s lifetime. I love traveling, so when I found out that I get to sail around the British Virgin Islands for two weeks over Christmas, I was so happy and excited. Overall, happiness develops from interest, acceptance, and inner feelings.
If one is walking in a park and comes across an unknown stranger, it would be relatively easy to see if this person is in a state of happiness. Side effects or visual reactions of being happy include smiling, laughter and a cheery personality. Contradictory to that, someone who is sad would be the exact opposite.
