Over time, the United States has come to be known as the land of the free and the land of opportunity. We have become the strongest and the most powerful country in the world. Common everyday freedom of speech and freedom of religion are taken for granted all the time. People in less-developed countries don�t have the luxury of saying what they want, or even living the life that they want to. Americans should be very grateful that we live in a land of democracy, and not under communists rule or even worse, a dictator. that they are just as many illegal immigrants as legal one�s coming in each year. Over time, these immigrants find that even though they have many freedoms that they didn�t previously have, they still face many discriminations and hardships in America.
Obviously, with all these immigrants comes the problem of over population, finding jobs, education for these people, and finding suitable living conditions for these immigrants. The three states with the highest immigration totals are California, Texas, and Florida. This is easy to explain because California and Texas are bordering Mexico, which means as long as the border control police don�t arrest them; they are on their way to a better life. Florida sees a lot of people escaping from Fidel Castro�s command in Cuba and from other Caribbean islands. These three states especially have their hands full with illegal immigrants.
