Management generally refers to the activities and often the group of people involved in functions such as planning, organizing, leading and coordinating of resources. Humans must have always used some form of management to carry out tasks efficiently since the earliest times. However, when we trace the history of management (as we will attempt to do in this paper) we trace the development of management from the industrial revolution and consider the practice of management of industries as the start of management.

Second, time lost in relocating, adapting, orienting to a new task is saved. Third-concentrating on a few tasks could result in discovering better methods of performing the task.
