I always thought Marilyn Monroe was a very intriguing person. She lived a very exiting glamorous life. She was a role model to many girls in her life time. She also has many very famous quotes. She was well known for many things like her lisp, breathless voice, platinum blonde hair, and voluptuous figure. She was nicknamed the blonde bombshell. Marilyn Monroe is an icon, a legend. Who was this luminous woman, this glamorous star? Behind the glitter and the smiles, who was the woman who made it all possible?

By spring she became a known model on over 33 national magazine covers. In July she signed her contract with Twenthieth Century Fox and then started appearing in a few movies at first she only appeared a few times in a movie but she eventually worked her way up to staring in a movie of her own. She appeared in 30 movies in her lifetime.
She died August 1962 at age 36. Her death came as a shock to the world. Some people believe it was murder and others believe it was a suicide. Some say she overdosed on pills. But there was no water around for her to swallow the pills with and there is no way she swallowed over 20 pills with no water. There was also no suicide note found. Her autopsy showed no trace of a tablet and no partially digested capsules even existed in her digestive tract. The police report described the event as a �probable suicide�, but for lack of evidence the investigators left open the possibility that she had been murdered.
