True, some might say of the ever-present idea that, �The love of .� Although it has many holes in it, this statement has been argued for years. Most statements are true only in the speaker�s eyes, but this one uses the word �all�, this gives law-like qualities. Not social laws, but scientific laws. These laws are always true all of the time, no exceptions. So if it does not prove true under certain circumstances it is no longer always right, therefore no longer a law. In this case if the statement, under certain circumstances is not true, it is false.

the evil isn�t rooted in money then how can it be stated that money is the cause of all evil.
By definition, evil is causing harm, injurious, or a cause of suffering. Tom was subject to an evil that is ever present in today�s society, loving someone that cannot cross economic boundaries for love. Daisy originally loved Tom, but she was so infatuated with money that she could not see past Tom�s lack thereof. A love that seemed to be eternal ruined by money. Daisy is, by the above definition of it, evil. She causes great suffering on Tom�s behalf, therefore evil. Daisy is one case that proves the questioned statement true.
Greed follows money, like a lawyer follows an ambulance. For some people there is never enough money; they don�t care who they hurt as long as they get it. This shows money as a form of evil because it seriously hurts people. Not all that have money are greedy, so it is not right to say that evil is a cancer that comes along with money.
