Music these days has become a joke to a lot of people and in my opinion real hip hop is dead. Now days a lot of the music that is being put out is either talking about drugs, sex, money, or bashing woman. The problem with this is we have children who listen to this music and then go out in the world and fight, put others down or even put themselves down. Artist put things out that they know will make money and once again do not think about how society is being affected and how it is changing the lives of people every day. purpose of gangster grillz is to uplift people who listen to it. Basically you are getting the medicine to heal while you listen to something you like. They took the beats of songs that are popular today and put their own spin on them. While the song might have been one that called woman ugly or said a certain skin tone is not the way to go they make sure to let you know that everyone is beautiful and special in their own way. The purpose is to also let young males know that violence is not the way and sex and money are not the only things in life. Their message is to keep you alive and bring victory.
