Swing Kids

The movie swing kids takes place in Hamburg, Germany. Swing kids thoroughly describes and shows what it was like during the days of Hitler. Main characters Peter, Thomas, and Arvid are all swing kids, and throughout the movie find themselves in some trouble that at the end results in death. During this period of time groups of Nazi�s known to be called HJ were swarming the streets of Germany and breaking up swing parties, these parties consisted of music made or performed by Jew�s and black�s, and that is why the HJ�s shut down those clubs. Swing Kids should be a movie for all schools to show to let students know the basic principles of how the Nazi�s influenced Germany and how serious and bad times they were during the Hitler reign. This movie is recommended by me not only because it�s a touching story but also because It shows how far someone will go to even turn against their own best friends or better yet their family. I rate this movie a 3 out of 4, because I think the characters did an extraordinary job and the story of the movie and purpose was very touching, I think it is important for everyone to know how it was in Germany at that time, and how much some people such as the Jew�s ...
