The American Dream is what an ideal life would be as an American. It is something that I believe has many flaws as the principles run on a set of ideals where freedom gives an opportunity for success and prosperity, with those you can then climb the social ladder even farther and begin a family with children. This all is not just given rather it is earned through hard work. Not only that, this dream is supposed to be achievable by everyone without having different barriers that may prevent the American Dream from becoming successful. a loan of what he says was one million dollars today that would be about 4.5 million dollars. To kick off a business with that amount of money I would think it is much easier than growing up in a world where the odds are set against you rather then for you. If I was to go to school fifteen minutes north of me I would be in Waukegan, where the school looks like it is about to collapse, the classrooms are understaffed and not supplied with proper materials. That doesn’t mean that you can’t succeed however it does make it significantly harder to build up a multi-million dollar net worth. How is it that the American Dream can succeed when the original people of this land Native Americans still live on reservations however the government still classifies them as Prisoner of War Camps. That prevents the American Dream from even beginning when barring the rights of freedom to citizens of this country. Knowing that it is hard to believe that the American dream is a real thing.
