The Great Garden

I used to live in New Hampshire, known as the granite state. There filled with its decrepit oak trees and poor soil it was complicated to grow a prosperous garden. Well one year my family and I got the bright idea to try and plant a garden. Specifically we wanted a pumpkin patch.

So we reveled in planting a garden. We waited and waited. Checking each morning before and after school, asking my mom questions. Well it was me who asked all the questions, my sister hated that I asked so many questions.

�Mom did you check the garden?� says Mariah.

Mom, �yes I did.�

Mariah, �well how did it look when u checked it?�

Mom, �same as what you just saw.�

After that little argument I was quiet I didn�t ask my mom any questions at all. I was in a quandary. Every day same thing I didn�t ask questions I kept to myself. One day my mom showed her condolence by going out and buying two big orange pumpkins. She was going to surprise my sister and I, even though my sister was old enough and didn�t really care about the pumpkins.

Unfortunately she got home a few minutes to late. My sister�s bus had arrived earlier than my mom thought it would. And it was too late to do the surprise for my sister so she told my sister her idea and so my sister was being compatible with my mom which is unusual for her. They worked fast so as to set up the pumpkins to make them look as if they had grown a massive amount during that day.
