The media airs commercials throughout television shows, radio shows, and even has made its way into the internet by creating banners which advertise products through links. With the increase of availability to televisions, radios and even the internet the media can reach just about everyone. Not only can advertisements be seen from numerous places, companies conduct studies to obtain statistics of various facts about the people that purchase their products to pin point the best marketing scheme of when and whom to advertise towards.

Companies use popular and appealing people in most commercials such as, models, movie or television stars, and even professional athletes to endorse their products. They figure if children and even some adults idolize and look up the people in the commercials they will want to use the same products their idols use.
Aside from television, which stimulates site and sound, there are still other methods of advertising. The radio for instance can only reach the sense of hearing. Radio ads still utilize the same strategies that television uses but instead of having the picture shown on a screen, radio ads paint the picture in your mind.
