American Dream

Everyone in America wants to be something or do something great, mainly known as the American dream. The American dream is a person's main achievement in life without it they could be nothing. Music is full of motivation and it helps me focus on my dream. Other people feel the same way about their music too. I use my music to help me focus on baseball. My dream of becoming a professional baseball player could be lying within the meaningful lyrics of my favorite song. My American dream is to become a pro baseball player and music helps keep me motivated to do it.

If I don't do this then I just need to go home because I'm obviously not trying hard enough to accomplish my baseball dream.
Belief is the second element I require to get to my dream. I need to believe that I can achieve my dream. If I don't believe in myself as a baseball player, how am I supposed to achieve? Other people also need to believe that I can go as far as I want in baseball and not doubt my abilities. The following lyrics from "Boulevard of broken dreams," by Green Day motivate me to believe:

My shadows the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
Till then I walk alone

They tell me that I shouldn't give up on things just because I'm not believed in. I'm not supposed to care what someone else says I can or cannot do. It's what I believe I can do with my life and baseball not what some dumb coach or peer says I will or won't do.
